Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark Bites
Rich dark chocolate peppermint bark in bite-sized pieces. Made with simple ingredients, naturally sweetened — an elegant, healthier holiday treat.
- For the Bites
- 12 oz dark chocolate 70 percent cacao or higher, chopped
- 1/2 tsp natural peppermint extract
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
- 2 tbsp crushed peppermint candies or candy canes optional
Prepare Pan: Line mini muffin tin with paper liners or use silicone mold.
Melt Chocolate: Melt dark chocolate in double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Add Flavor: Stir in peppermint extract, vanilla, and sea salt.
Fill Molds: Spoon melted chocolate into muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
Add Topping: Sprinkle crushed peppermint on top if desired.
Chill: Refrigerate 30 minutes until completely set.
Remove & Store: Pop out of molds and store in airtight container in cool place.
